Cancellation Policy
Our guidelines for cancelling orders and services
1. Product Order Cancellations
For cancellation of product orders, the following terms apply:
- Orders can be cancelled at any time before shipment with no penalty
- Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled but may be returned as per our Refund Policy
- For custom-ordered products, cancellation is only possible within 24 hours of placing the order
2. Service Cancellations
For Somas Technology India Private Limited's various services, the following cancellation terms apply:
- Web & App Development Projects:
- - Can be cancelled at any time with written notice
- - Cancellation before project initiation: 100% refund
- - Cancellation after project initiation: Payment for completed work plus 15% of remaining contract value
- - For milestone-based projects, completed milestones must be paid in full regardless of cancellation
- Digital Marketing & SEO Services:
- - Monthly services require 15 days notice for cancellation
- - Quarterly or annual contracts require 30 days notice
- - Early termination fee of 25% of remaining contract value applies for long-term contracts
- - Ongoing campaigns will be completed or paused as per mutual agreement
- IT Support & Business Management Services:
- - Monthly services require 30 days notice for cancellation
- - Annual contracts require 60 days notice before renewal date
- - Emergency support services cannot be cancelled once initiated
- - Business management solutions may have custom cancellation terms as specified in individual contracts
- Tracking Services (Vehicle, Fuel, Employee):
- - Monthly subscriptions require 30 days written notice for cancellation
- - Annual subscriptions require 60 days notice before the renewal date
- - Hardware rental agreements have a minimum commitment period of 3 months
- - Early termination of hardware rental may incur a one-time fee
3. Cancellation Process
To cancel an order or service, please follow these steps:

- Provide your order/invoice number and reason for cancellation
- Our team will process your cancellation request within 2 business days
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email
- Any applicable refunds will be processed as per our Refund Policy
4. Non-Cancellable Items & Services
The following items and services cannot be cancelled:
- Custom-developed software after development has been completed
- Domain name registrations and renewals
- SSL certificates once issued
- Completed consultation services
- Third-party services purchased on your behalf
5. Cancellation Fees
Depending on the type of service and timing of cancellation, the following fees may apply:
- Project-Based Services: Payment for work completed plus 15% of remaining contract value
- Subscription Services: No fee with proper notice; one month's fee for insufficient notice
- Annual Contracts: 20% of remaining contract value for early termination
6. Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), we reserve the right to cancel services without penalty. Similarly, customers may cancel without penalty if such events prevent service delivery.
7. Policy Updates
This cancellation policy was last updated on June 05, 2025. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.
