1. Product Refunds

Somas Technology India Private Limited's product refund policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair business practices:

  • Hardware Products: Eligible for refund within 10 days of delivery if returned in original packaging and undamaged condition with all accessories intact.
  • Software Products: Eligible for refund within 7 days of purchase if the software has not been installed or activated.
  • Digital Downloads: Not eligible for refund once the download link has been accessed.
  • Tracking Devices: Eligible for replacement within 15 days if found defective. Refund available only if replacement is not possible.

2. Service Refunds

For Somas Technology India Private Limited's various services, the following refund terms apply:

  • Web & App Development Services:
    • - 100% refund if project has not started (within 72 hours of payment)
    • - 50% refund if project is in initial stages (less than 25% complete)
    • - No refund once project is 25% or more complete
    • - For fixed-price projects, milestone payments are non-refundable once the milestone is approved
  • Digital Marketing & SEO Services:
    • - Monthly services can be cancelled with 15 days notice
    • - Pro-rated refund for unused service days
    • - No refund for completed work or reporting periods
    • - Campaign setup fees are non-refundable
  • IT Support & Business Management Services:
    • - Subscription services can be cancelled with 30 days notice
    • - Pro-rated refund for unused subscription period
    • - No refund for one-time support services once delivered
    • - Customized business management solutions have specific refund terms outlined in individual contracts
  • Tracking Services (Vehicle, Fuel, Employee):
    • - Hardware installation fees are non-refundable once installation is complete
    • - Subscription services can be cancelled with 30 days notice
    • - Pro-rated refund for unused subscription months for annual plans
    • - No refund for monthly subscription plans once the month has started

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order/invoice number and reason for refund request
  3. For physical products, you will receive return shipping instructions
  4. Once approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
  5. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase

4. Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following items and services are not eligible for refund:

  • Custom-developed software or applications
  • Domain name registrations and renewals
  • SSL certificates once issued
  • Completed consultation services
  • Third-party services purchased on your behalf

5. Refund Exceptions

We may consider exceptions to our standard refund policy in the following cases:

  • Product or service was defective or significantly different from what was advertised
  • Service was not delivered within the agreed timeframe (with reasonable allowances)
  • Technical issues prevented the use of the product or service

Each exception request will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
